LUXURY CAMP
From Reykjavik, you will fly to Nuuk. The name alone sets the tone.

Your private guide will be waiting at baggage claim to assist you and ensure a smooth arrival. You will then be taken on a brief tour of the city before heading to the port, where your boat will escort you to the luxury camp.
You will leave civilization behind on an 80 km cruise through the heart of the second-largest fjord system in the world, reaching one of the oldest places on Earth.
Keep your eyes open — humpback whales may well give you an exclusive welcome. This is where your adventure begins. Settle in, relax, and take in the fresh air and the beauty of the landscape.
You will be able to shape your own unique experience from a wide selection of options and daily activities, whether you want to stay active or simply unwind.

On arrival at the camp, you will set off on a short hike to the magnificent waterfall just behind it.
The hike itself is brief, requiring only a little stamina, and will give us a sense of each guest’s physical capabilities. It offers a preview of what lies ahead during your stay: the sweeping view over the Kiattua valley is one you won’t forget any time soon.
Activities on offer include cruises, fishing (bare-handed or otherwise), visits to villages such as Kapisillit, home to 50 residents, and kayak outings through the glassy ice — suitable for beginners too!
And of course, there’s no shortage of hiking: your guide will find a route suited to your group’s abilities, whether that means an easy walk for beginners or a climb to the summit of the highest mountain (1,650 m).
Drawn by the power of ice? Take a boat cruise through Nuuk Fjord, stopping along the way at the ice fjord, where you’ll have the thrilling experience of swimming in Arctic waters.

Each day will end back at camp, around a delicious meal that is an integral part of the experience — which is why only the country’s finest chefs have been selected.
The dining tent features an open kitchen, allowing guests to watch and take part as the chef prepares fresh, gastronomic meals.
All ingredients are sourced locally.

4 nights are planned at the camp, though you may choose to stay longer for a true immersion.

Camp Kiattua

HEADING NORTH

The time comes to leave the camp and head northwest to the Ilulissat region, to discover the ever-changing backcountry or, depending on weather conditions, the town itself.
You’ll set off on the famous hike to Sermermiut 2, an absolute must when visiting Ilulissat. The natural beauty of the area, together with its fascinating history, is bound to captivate everyone.
Magnificent icebergs form the backdrop to the ancient village of Sermermiut, located a kilometre and a half south of Ilulissat. For 4,000 years, various Inuit cultures lived in this village, and numerous remains bearing witness to their presence can still be seen today.

You will cruise to Ilimanaq to reach your lodge for 2 nights.
The property sits on the southern shore of the ice fjord. The crossing takes about an hour, weaving through gigantic icebergs.
And there you are, about to sleep amid blocks of ice and whales!

Once again, meals play a central role in the experience. For your first dinner, you’ll head to a historic spot — the restaurant is beautifully situated in the small town of Ilimanaq and ranks among the best in Greenland.
The historic spirit of the place, combined with views of whales surfacing in Disko Bay, will make this an evening to remember.
It’s hard to imagine a more striking setting for an exclusive meal.

Throughout this stay, we aim to offer you the finest and most authentic taste of Greenland.

After a good night’s sleep, enjoy a private full-day excursion to the Eqi Glacier.
Few places in Greenland rival the beauty of the Eqi Glacier. By boat, it is possible to get very close to the glacier and watch enormous chunks of ice break away. The sounds are deafening, and the sight of icebergs crashing into the water is breathtaking. Lunch is served on board.

Vivez la calotte glaciaire

80% of Greenland's land area (over 1.7 million km2) is covered by an ice sheet known as the Greenland ice cap, or more precisely, the Greenland ice sheet. It is one of only two ice sheets in the world, the largest after Antarctica, and it has existed for 18 million years. Today, the Greenland ice sheet reaches a thickness of 3 km and is over 100,000 years old.

The ice sheet is accessible from towns throughout Greenland. You can experience it by flying over it in a helicopter or small plane, by hiking or camping at the edge of the glacier, and of course by dog sled. Kangerlussuaq is proudly home to the country's only road leading to the ice sheet, a 25 km dirt track passing several viewpoints over the glacier's ice tongues.

Looking at any map, one might imagine that the white island at the top of the globe is nothing but a vast, unknown expanse. Even flying high in Greenlandic airspace, the ice sheet still appears to be no more than a blinding stretch of white. But in reality, the Greenland ice sheet turns out to be full of surprises. Up close, the Greenland ice sheet reveals its true palette of blues and greens, coming alive as a jagged accumulation of thousand-year-old ice fragments. In summer, deep crevasses can fill with fast-flowing glacial rivers. Every corner of the Greenland ice sheet is unique, so let your imagination run free as you explore this icy desert.

END OF THE JOURNEY
The time has come to depart.
We haven’t forgotten a last bit of shopping / a stroll through the town of Ilulissat!
Boat cruise to Ilulissat from Ilimanaq, where you’ll catch your flight back to Reykjavik.
