The spirit of the journey

This deeply cultural journey will take you through the grand hills of Buddhist Sikkim and the traditional villages of the North-Eastern States, which receive few visitors.

A former kingdom of India nestled at the heart of the Himalayas, you will discover entirely preserved forests, superb tea plantations and sweeping views of Mount Kangchenjunga, the third-highest mountain in the world.

A journey through the Himalayas, off the beaten track.
A journey out of time.

You will walk an average of 12-13 km a day, meeting local people through schools, monasteries, markets and a few old monuments… at times you may even attend early-morning prayers, moments rich in exchange and emotion.
You will also come face to face with the red panda, in its mountain habitat.

This trek is all the more exceptional for the fact that you will stay in village houses fitted out with a tasteful, refined touch rarely found in such remote places, and you will never need to worry about meals.
Your cook will be on hand to satisfy your culinary curiosity, a welcome complement to the journey.
