Tree House Hideway

In the wild heart of Bandhavgarh Tiger Reserve, the treehouses are built with an elegance that complements the world outside. The decor blends contemporary design with traditional jungle living, through earth tones and ecological elements.
The property is home to bird, reptile, and animal species living among the forest trees, and over time the area has become a small, protected haven for them. You can spend your time quietly in the privacy of your room, or set out in search of wildlife and birds within Bandhavgarh Tiger Reserve.

KANHA

Kanha National Park

Kanha National Park lies on the Maikal Hills in the Satpura range, in the state of Madhya Pradesh. It was established to save a rare deer species, the barasingha (swamp deer). The reserve, declared a national park in 1955, was later extended with the addition of the Banjar and Halon valleys. In 1973, it became the first Tiger Reserve under Project Tiger. It covers an area of 1,945 km², of which 940 km² form the core zone. Nearby, the Phen Wildlife Sanctuary, covering 110 km², allows genetic exchange between the two areas.

In such an environment, wildlife is naturally abundant. Around 200 to 300 bird species have been recorded, along with deer, gaur, reptiles, dholes, wolves, sloth bears, jackals, leopards and tigers. The park is home to 110 tigers, around a hundred leopards, 400 barasinghas and 1,200 gaur.  Tiger sightings are fairly common in Kanha, although the viewing distance tends to be considerable, partly due to the size of the park. Kanha is arguably India's most beautiful park, with the enveloping atmosphere of its forests. Like all parks in Madhya Pradesh, Kanha is closed on Wednesday afternoons, when safaris are not possible.
