SOUTH LUANGWA
A walking safari sanctuary pioneered by Norman Carr several decades ago, South Luangwa is a must for its rich wildlife and striking landscapes.

After reaching South Luangwa National Park by air, you will spend your first night at a charming lodge.

After some rest — and the customary tea! — you will set off on your first open 4×4 safari in South Luangwa National Park.
The safari continues after nightfall before your return to the lodge for dinner.

WALKING SAFARI
You will then head to the northern part of South Luangwa National Park for six days of walking safari. You will experience intense sensations, in close harmony with the surrounding nature.

South Luangwa is home to more than 60 mammal species and several hundred bird species. The park remains little visited and is renowned for its walking safaris. It is also one of the best sites for leopard sightings.

A charming tented camp awaits you after your busy days in the bush.

The camp is extremely comfortable and well-equipped, with full bedding included. The shower is set up under a tree. Meals cooked over the fire are served beneath the stars.

Each day, while you walk, the camp is moved. On arriving at the new camp, you will find your belongings packed just as you left them that morning. All that remains is to take a hot shower under the stars!

You walk around 10 km a day, at a leisurely pace, following the Mupamadzi River.

Groups are limited to 6 people maximum.

The northern region of the park is remote and wild, with varied terrain and habitats.

From ants to buffalo, you will discover the many facets of the bush.

After 5 nights under canvas, you will reach a superb lodge for 4×4 safaris before returning to Lusaka.
