MENJANGAN NATIONAL PARK
The day after your arrival, following a good night’s sleep, visit Tanah Lot temple outside peak hours — the site gains considerably in serenity.
You’ll then take small roads through terraced rice paddies to the village of Blimbing. Arrival late morning and lunch at a Balinese inn facing a superb landscape. In the afternoon, a short walk through coffee, clove, cacao and vanilla plantations, led by your guide.
You’ll stay on the coast, away from the tourist routes.

Uninhabited and protected, Menjangan is considered one of the strongholds for divers on the Island of the Gods. Away from any tourist bustle, in this small sanctuary you’ll encounter only a few rangers patrolling the area, or deer.

Two days of diving: departure by boat to Menjangan Island, within the national park, home to some of Bali’s finest dive sites, renowned for its walls and drop-offs.
2 dives per day, with a French-speaking instructor. Picnic lunch, drinks included.

AMED – TULAMBEN
A touch of culture before returning to diving.
Visit the animist village of Tenganan, home to the Bali Aga (Bali’s original inhabitants, predating the Hindu settlers), who have long produced Ikat weaving and basketry, their houses standing as genuine showcases of craftsmanship. This will be the occasion for a roughly 2-hour hike through a landscape dominated by Mount Agung, to the village of Bebandem, with the option to swim in the river. Before continuing on to Amed, you’ll pass through the Tirtagangga royal baths, set amid rice paddies and jungle.
Continue on to the fishing village of Amed.

A day of diving around the Tulamben sites, where one highlight is the wreck of the American ship “Liberty”, 50 m offshore. The dive is accessible to divers of all levels. 2 dives, picnic lunch.

SANUR – NUSA PENIDA
After Amed and its wreck, on to Candi Dasa for a day of diving (2 dives per day with a French-speaking instructor) around Gili Tepekong island.
Picnic lunch.
You’ll be able to observe a fine variety of fish, and from June to October, mola-mola (sunfish).
Experienced divers only, due to the strong and unpredictable currents.
Then continue on to Sanur.

A day of diving around Nusa Penida island (2 dives per day with a French-speaking instructor).
Boat transfers and lunch included. Between June and October, you may have the chance to spot mola-mola (sunfish), or enjoy some fairly strong drift dives (for experienced divers).
For calmer dives and manta ray sightings, Crystal Bay or Manta Point, to the south of the island, are preferable. You’ll appreciate the untouched, wild beauty of the coastline, with its caves, coves and islets.

Your stay will end with a free day on Sanur beach, still authentic with its fishing boats.
