ETOSHA NATIONAL PARK
After a final safari in Etosha National Park, you’ll head west towards the Kaokoland region.
Overnight stay at a lodge set within a private concession, on the banks of the Otjovasandu River.
KAOKOLAND – EPUPA FALLS
This morning, you’ll cross Kaokoland to reach the impressive Epupa Falls.
Kaokoland is a vast territory of semi-desert mountains, home to the Himba, a semi-nomadic pastoral people. You’ll have the opportunity to meet this fascinating people during a village visit with a local guide.
Note that this is an authentic, remote village, rarely “visited.” Certain rules of conduct must be respected so as not to distort the exchange.
You’ll discover the falls on a walk or during a canoe outing on the Kunene River. At sunset, you’ll enjoy a drink from the top of a hill, overlooking the falls — a lasting memory.
You’ll spend two nights at a small camp on the banks of the Kunene River, shaded by an oasis of makalani palms.

OPTIONAL: HARTMANN VALLEY
For a unique experience, we can replace your nights at Epupa with a stay in the Hartmann Valley, located at the very north of Kaokoland.
From Etosha, at sunrise, a low-altitude flight will bring you into this striking valley — or rather, you might say you’ll “land on the moon,” given how otherworldly the landscape is.
A 4×4 vehicle will be waiting to take you to the luxurious Serra Cafema camp, renowned as one of the finest lodges in Southern Africa.
