MAHÉ
This is where it all begins, after your international flight.
Your driver will take you to Carana Beach for a 4-night stay.
Settle into your chalet and spend the afternoon on the beach in the shade of a palm tree.
The hotel spa awaits to help you unwind!
Whether you seek relaxation, adrenaline or contemplation, everything is possible here.
Take a guided hike through the island’s mountainous, granite interior and discover wild vanilla growing alongside rare species such as the black parrot.
Visit Victoria, Mahé’s capital, with its family-run rum distilleries, botanical gardens and artists’ workshops.
For water sports enthusiasts, renting a windsurf board or a small catamaran on Beau Vallon Bay is an experience not to be missed.
For this example, we have chosen the 4-star Carana Beach Hotel, which offers excellent value for money, though the most discerning travellers may prefer the Four Seasons Resort Seychelles or the Maia by Anantara, our favourites.

PRASLIN
After your stay in Mahé, you’ll travel to Praslin by CatCocos ferry (or by plane).
L’Archipel welcomes you for 4 more nights, with its magnificent beaches, shaded pool and attentive service.
For those seeking true luxury, consider the Constance Lemuria or Raffles Praslin.
To make your stay more active, take a private tour of Praslin, passing traditional Creole houses and stopping for lunch on an isolated hilltop, surrounded by mangrove forests and the calls of sunbirds and blue pigeons.
If you’d like to explore Praslin on your own, you can even rent a car for the day and head to the breathtaking Anse Lazio beach.
To deepen your discovery of the island, consider a visit to the Vallée de Mai, a UNESCO World Heritage site. This 20-hectare palm forest has remained almost untouched since prehistoric times. A guide will show you endemic plants such as the Coco de Mer, and with a bit of luck, you might spot the rare black parrot.
From Praslin, it’s also possible to explore some outlying islands on a full-day catamaran excursion, sailing between sandy coves and palm-covered islets.
Beyond the beaches, there’s so much more to discover in the Seychelles!
