RADAMA ARCHIPELAGO
Board your private catamaran from Nosy Be, assisted by an attentive crew.
On board your catamaran, 4 independent air-conditioned cabins, each with its own shower, hot water and toilet.
Nine months a year, sheltered by the Mozambique Channel and the Madagascan mainland, the waters around Nosy Be, in the northwest of the country, offer ideal sailing conditions to discover these gardens of Eden by sea.
Highlights of your week-long cruise from Nosy Be to the Radama archipelago:
Snorkelling in the Nosy Tanikely marine reserve and exploring the mangrove of Baie des Russes, kayaking and a visit to the village and lighthouse of Nosy Iranja, visits to authentic fishing villages, encounters with local communities, sailing along the long Baramahamay river channel between primary forest and mangrove, meeting the Radama locals and discovering a way of life in total communion with nature and the sea, snorkelling at Nosy Kalakajoro, fishing on Antanimora island, snorkelling and kayaking on the private island of Nosy Saba, and to close out this cruise in style: exploring Moramba Bay by kayak, also known as Madagascar’s Along Bay, with its surreal, striking landscapes, remarkable vegetation and improbable baobabs perched on volcanic outcrops, alongside encounters with ring-tailed lemurs and several endemic bird species.
RELAIS & CHÂTEAUX ANJAJAVY
You will then reach Anjajavy by small boat, located 150 kilometres from Majunga, on a wild peninsula fringed by Tsingy formations and opening onto the Mozambique Channel.
Built in rosewood and traveller’s palm, around twenty elegant and spacious villas make the most of space and light.
Take one of the paths leading to the 7 translucent coves near the hotel, and watch the distant ballet of triangular-sailed pirogues, alone in the world.
Anjajavy also features a 200m2 infinity pool, fed by seawater.
Take advantage of the many trails on offer to discover a lush landscape, or head up the mangrove by boat to uncover hidden caves nearby and the splendour of the tsingy.
Time will seem to stand still…
