The spirit of the journey

This private luxury mobile camp safari in Botswana redefines what travelling in the bush means. Neither a fixed lodge nor a spartan camp: an exceptional mobile structure, relocated according to your itinerary, with spacious, elegantly furnished tents, private bathroom, attentive service and meals prepared on site. The comfort of a lodge, with a location no lodge could ever offer.

The itinerary opens in Chobe National Park, home to the largest concentration of elephants in Africa (up to 120,000 individuals). 4x4 safaris through the bush and sunset cruises on the Chobe River make for an opening rich in wildlife from the very first day.

The camp then moves on to Savuti, one of Botswana's wildest and least-visited territories. Known for its packs of African wild dogs, its lions and its spectacular predator confrontations, Savuti offers scenes that most conventional safaris never reach. This is where the mobile camp shows its full advantage: settling right at the heart of the viewing area, with no intermediary.

The itinerary continues into the Moremi Reserve, then the Okavango Delta, reached by light aircraft. A UNESCO World Heritage site, the delta is explored by mokoro along its silent channels and by boat across its lagoons: lions, elephants, leopards and an exceptional variety of birdlife in a wetland environment unlike anywhere else on earth.

This safari is entirely private: your group, your pace, your programme. Every camp location is chosen for the quality of wildlife viewing it offers and its sense of isolation. A journey designed for those who want to experience Africa without constraint and without compromise.

MOBILE CAMP: CHOBE – SAVUTI – MOREMI

Meet your private guide, who will take you to your mobile camp in Chobe National Park, where you will spend two nights. Here you will discover captivating wildlife and the largest concentration of elephants on the African continent, by 4×4 and motorboat.

The next leg takes you to Savuti, into increasingly wild terrain, for two nights under canvas. This is the domain of lions, African wild dogs, leopards and spotted hyenas on the hunt. It is also an opportunity to explore the volcanic rock outcrops that shape the landscape and to view the rock paintings of southern Africa’s indigenous people.

You will then travel by 4×4 to the Okavango Delta for your final two nights in camp, set on the banks of a waterway bordering the Moremi Reserve. Here, an extraordinary diversity of wildlife awaits, explored by 4×4 or on walking safaris: lions, leopards, kudus, semi-aquatic antelopes, elephants, hippopotamuses and giraffes.

Camp mobile de luxe dans le delta

The mobile camp, also known as a roaming camp, is an unusual way to travel through Botswana. It holds many surprises in store.

The private mobile camp experience consists of spending several days in the middle of the wilderness, in camps that are set up, taken down, then moved from one area to another by an outstanding team, exclusively for you.
You will discover several regions of the Okavango Delta this way, exploring them on open 4x4 safaris accompanied by your guide (usually English-speaking).
Each evening, you will return to camp and to your bush tent, set up in your absence by the logistics team. The chef and the entire team will be waiting for you by the fire with a delicious meal. The cuisine is remarkably careful and flavourful.

Nights are spent as close to nature as possible, in spacious, simple tents whose comfort is almost disconcerting at the heart of the bush! Each one has its own bathroom with a bucket shower and adjoining toilet.
The camp is mobile and temporary, meaning that once you leave, no trace of your stay remains, leaving these wild spaces intact and preserved.

As you will have understood, this is a fine escape from everyday life!
The luxury mobile camp allows you to disconnect, but it is also a wonderful way to reconnect with simple things and with nature.

For a family trip, the private camp remains, in our view, the best way to come together. This setting, far from the usual distractions of daily life, is genuinely conducive to exchange and sharing.

The warm, deeply human spirit is also felt among the team dedicated to the mobile camp. Their smiles, kindness and daily attentiveness will leave you with lasting memories.
With a minimum of 3 nights for the private mobile camp to work its magic, you will have time to soak up this atmosphere and to talk with the staff.

From one camp to another, safaris are done by 4x4: the activity that offers the most wildlife sightings and allows you to get closest to the animals. A real highlight!
To complete your experience in the Okavango Delta and discover the other signature activities, such as boat and mokoro safaris, you can easily extend your stay with a few nights at a lodge located in the more “watery” part of the delta.
There is no shortage of fine addresses!

LODGE: OKAVANGO DELTA
By light aircraft, you will reach your &Beyond lodge on the Okavango Delta to bring your journey to a close in style.

Immerse yourself in nature once again, with excursions on foot, by 4×4 or by mokoro (traditional dugout canoe). Whether you choose adventure or moments of pure relaxation in close communion with the wild surroundings, this is luxury at its purest.

2-night stay at a luxury lodge with activities included.

Delta de l'Okavango,

Delta de l'Okavango

The Okavango, the river that never reaches the sea. A delta that gradually vanishes into the Kalahari Desert, in Botswana.
Picture an ever-shifting maze: only the most experienced guides can find their way through it.

The Okavango Delta is without doubt one of the most majestic landscapes in southern Africa, and safaris here are legendary.

Although the delta is permanent, water levels vary throughout the year. As a result, exploring this vast mosaic of river channels, lagoons, islands and floodplains is done by mokoro, motorboat, on foot or by 4x4.

Wildlife of a diversity rarely matched elsewhere reigns supreme here. The delta is home to one of the largest elephant populations in Africa, along with all the major predators.
In the dry season, it is common to see hundreds of elephants in a single day. Lions and leopards are often part of the scene, and it is not unusual to come across African wild dogs in certain parts of Moremi, Chief Island or Linyanti.

As with a masterwork, it is from a distance or from above that one truly grasps its beauty, among winding lagoons.

But come closer, quietly, without a sound…
You will discover the details that make up the richness of this work. Here, African life pulses at the water's edge.
