After your light aircraft transfer from Maun, you arrive in the Okavango Delta.
Set against a superb backdrop, you’ll appreciate the delta’s wildlife, abundant and surprising.
You’ll stay 2 nights at Chitabe Camp, just 8 tents for maximum privacy, within a private concession on the dry land portion of the delta.
Each tent is built on a wooden platform and has a private deck, ideal for relaxing.
Activities: 4×4 safaris, by day and night, fishing, boat safaris, mokoro (traditional dug-out canoe) depending on water levels.

OKAVANGO DELTA – private concession in the northern delta
After a short flight over the delta, you’ll reach the superb Vumbura Plains camp, Wilderness’s flagship luxury camp, offering a unique experience and extraordinary views: floodplains dotted with palm islands and shaded forest.
The handful of elegant, spacious suites with private plunge pools overlook waters teeming with hippopotamuses.
Known for having the delta’s best predator sightings, the region is beautiful and offers an exceptional safari area.
Vumbura is expensive, certainly, but if you’re going to treat yourself, this is the place to do it!
You’ll stay 2 nights in this fine setting at the heart of the Delta.
Activities: boat safaris, mokoro (traditional dug-out canoe) and 4×4 safaris.

LINYANTI
At its north-eastern edge, the Delta spills over in an unusual way, connecting it to the Linyanti marshes, the Savuti swamps, the woodlands along the Chobe River and, finally, the mighty Zambezi River.
You’ll come close to the borders of Namibia. The landscapes here are different again, as the Linyanti River forms permanent wetlands in this area.
Thanks to the year-round presence of water, this region shelters varied wildlife and very large numbers of birds.
A fitting complement to exploring the Okavango Delta!
Here, DumaTau, meaning “roar of the lion”, awaits you in territory favoured by big cats.
Positioned between two heavily used elephant migration corridors, its location is a considerable asset.
DumaTau comprises eight ultra-spacious suites, each with a small private plunge pool and outdoor shower.
Activities: 4×4, walking and boat safaris.
A pre- or post-extension to Victoria Falls can be added (ask us for details).
