The spirit of the journey

Experience a safari of old in Kenya with Lewa and Great Plains Conservation, both based in areas ideal for observing wildlife under the best conditions.

The Lewa Conservancy welcomes you to its land dedicated to protecting endangered species. Striking landscapes. Authentic safaris: by 4x4, on foot, on horseback, or by camel, you will explore the bush in a varied and surprising way for a unique experience.

You will then fly to Mara Nyika Camp, a luxury tented camp bearing the Relais & Châteaux label, set in one of the Masai Mara's finest private conservancies: Naboisho.
Between romance, adventure, discovery and exploration, Mara Nyika showcases the essence of East Africa through décor inspired by Swahili and Maasai cultures.
The Masai Mara, an iconic site with one of the highest wildlife densities in Africa. There you will observe numerous predators and their fascinating behaviour, for lasting memories.

LEWA CONCESSION
25,000 hectares of African land, Mount Kenya as a backdrop, wildlife on every side, and an exclusive, unforgettable safari experience: welcome to the Lewa Conservancy.

A genuine conservancy dedicated to species protection and driven by the safeguarding of Kenya’s last black rhinos, you will sense an atmosphere of care and commitment to these values.

Overlooking the Lewa valley, you will spend 3 nights at Lewa Wilderness, a property with just 10 comfortable cottages carrying the rustic character of a ranch.
Set on a hillside, the lodge looks out over the Lewa valley and the landscapes that make this one of the finest regions we know.

You will observe wildlife by 4×4, on foot, on horseback, or even by camel. An aerial safari is also possible (at extra cost): the aircraft can take two passengers alongside the pilot on a journey over forests, herds of animals, and ravines otherwise out of reach.

Lewa Wilderness

MASAI MARA
You will then head to the Masai Mara by plane. Take advantage of this low-altitude flight to discover Kenya’s remarkable landscapes. You will spend 3 nights at Mara Nyika Camp in the private Naboisho Conservancy, in one of its Out of Africa-style canvas suites of exceptional comfort. Beneath the canopy, by a small stream, it offers a genuine pause to refocus on the essential and appreciate nature at its most soothing.

Both intimate and warm, the service here is exceptional, the décor refined, and the experience captivating.

Experienced rangers will guide you through the area on exclusive 4×4 safaris.
A hot-air balloon safari is also possible: flying over the Masai Mara plains at dawn. From the sky, wildlife observation takes on an entirely different dimension.

Mara Nyika Camp
