TSWALU GAME RESERVE
Arrival in Johannesburg, then a light aircraft flight to a still largely mysterious and enigmatic land: the Kalahari Desert.
A semi-desert zone, difficult to access and still rarely visited, the Kalahari nonetheless offers an incomparable wildlife reserve and desert panoramas as far as the eye can see.
In this unmatched setting, facing the Korannaberg mountains, stands a dream lodge where you’ll spend 3 nights, in the largest private reserve in South Africa: Tswalu!
For several years now, the owners have been running a large-scale reintroduction project for indigenous species such as the black rhinoceros, across a territory of one hundred thousand hectares.
Under a thatched roof, the stone-walled Motse houses eight suites with warm tones and a cosy atmosphere, all built facing waterholes. A standalone villa, Tarkuni Villa, can accommodate a large family or a group of friends.
At Tswalu, you can also go on horseback, walking and 4×4 safaris, meditate in the silence of red dunes, observe the Milky Way through a telescope, track Kalahari wildlife (meerkats, white and black rhinoceros, black-maned Kalahari lions, caracals, leopards, cheetahs…), explore unique archaeological sites, discover the great vintages of the other wine country, and enjoy the Spa’s treatments. A fine African adventure with family, friends or as a couple.
Brand new, Loapi Tented Camp is resolutely pioneering and nomadic in spirit!
Six tented units (with one or two bedrooms) at the heart of an exceptional environment, overlooked by the Korannaberg mountains, for the ultimate private experience in nature.
Cocoon-like canvas sanctuaries of over 300 square metres, with
a private butler, chef and guide to make your stay unforgettable.

KRUGER NATIONAL PARK OR SABI SAND PRIVATE RESERVE
After one last safari at Tswalu, a small aircraft will take you back to Johannesburg, where you’ll board another light aircraft for the Singita airstrip.
You’ll reach your final stop for a 3-night stay at one of the Singita lodges, a benchmark of luxury.
At the gates of the Sabi Sand private reserve or southeast of the famous Kruger National Park, four Singita lodges carry the design spirit of contemporary creators to new heights, along with a way of life that is both elegant and unconventional.
Lebombo & Sweni, of extreme elegance, offer a sweeping panorama over a private concession within Kruger National Park, renowned for the variety and concentration of the park’s finest species. Primitive art, aged leathers and indigenous materials, reworked in a more design-driven style, lend these lodges a rare elegance amid this wild land.
Ebony & Boulders, a colonial-style lodge and a contemporary model of African refinement respectively, offer top-quality safaris within a private concession at the heart of the Sabi Sand reserve, bordering Kruger National Park.
At dawn, aboard open-top 4x4s and under the guidance of experienced guides, you’ll set off in search of thrills and powerful emotions, tracking Africa’s great animals.
Back at the lodge, a hearty breakfast will delight your palate and restore your energy before an optional guided walk in the bush.
After a delicious meal, a gentle nap and a dip in your private pool, you’ll head out again for unforgettable wild moments, sharing traditions and experiences with your guides.
In the evening, around a pleasant campfire, on the terrace or in the elegant dining room, you’ll enjoy swapping stories from the day’s thrilling wildlife tracking, while tasting fine South African vintages to delight even the most discerning palates.
