The spirit of the journey

Baffin Island, Nunavut.

Inhabited by an Indigenous people for over four thousand years, this vast natural territory of Nunavut is the largest of Canada's territories. More than 3 hours by flight from Ottawa, experience the Canadian Arctic.

You’ll head north to Iqaluit, the Inuit capital, then board a small plane bound for a place you never imagined you’d go. Destination: a polar bivouac camp on the sea ice, where the most remarkable of adventures awaits.

Once night falls, keep watch – you may be lucky enough to see magnificent northern lights, or even polar bears…

You’ll discover these vast, pristine expanses, immense panoramas where silence and stillness are breathtaking. An expedition into the heart of the Canadian Arctic to observe these animals, sometimes just a few metres away.

An experience that is both exhilarating and deeply calm. In the end, one of our finest Arctic journeys.
