The Fernando de Noronha Archipelago is one of Brazil’s most remarkable natural sites.
The peaks of the South Atlantic submarine ridge form the Fernando de Noronha archipelago and the Rocas Atoll, off the Brazilian coast. They account for a significant share of the South Atlantic’s island landmass, and their nutrient-rich waters serve as critical breeding and feeding grounds for tuna, sharks, sea turtles and marine mammals. These islands host the largest concentration of tropical seabirds in the western Atlantic Ocean. Golfinhos Bay is home to an exceptional resident population of dolphins, and at low tide, the Rocas Atoll reveals a striking landscape of lagoons and tide pools teeming with fish.

This former Brazilian military base, 520 km off the coast of Recife, now stands as a model of environmental preservation. With its untouched wilderness, fine sand beaches and remarkable underwater scenery, it will captivate nature lovers. The island is a sanctuary for sea turtles and dolphins. Made up of 21 islands, Fernando de Noronha is ideal for diving, surfing, snorkelling, hiking and horseback riding.

Its beaches rank among the most beautiful in Brazil, and the environment is protected through strict, controlled visitor numbers.

FERNANDO DE NORONHA
Fernando de Noronha is accessible by plane. Entries are controlled, as preservation is the priority.
The blue sea and white sand beaches are among the finest in the world. Multicoloured fish, sea turtles, sharks, sponges and corals are the stars of the place.

You will appreciate the comfort of your pousada, built in an architecture fully integrated into the nature of the rainforest along the shore. In the evening, you can relax on your room’s terrace or by the hotel pool.

During a boat trip around the archipelago, you will swim in the natural pools with mask and snorkel. You can also try your hand at fishing, or take boat excursions to more remote spots for scuba diving.

Not forgetting a nap in the hammock…

Maravilha Pousada

On the island of Fernando de Noronha. A small, lush paradise set in the waters of the South Atlantic, the island boasts some of the world's finest beaches, with turquoise water and fine white sand. The archipelago, entirely eco-friendly, limits visitor access to preserve the island's nature and tranquility.
The Maravilla Hotel is surrounded by lush greenery and offers sweeping views over the reefs. By day, guests leave the pared-back yet ultra-luxurious setting to explore the dense jungle or the seabed of rare beauty.
