Example of a tailor-made journey, fully customisable
Inde Himalaya
8 days / 7 nights in India
Your journey will begin and end in Delhi, from where you will take the train for a first local experience.
On arrival, you will be met and driven to the starting point of your trek in the Almora region.
You will then walk for approximately 2 hours before reaching Deora, your first place of stay.
A good dinner prepared by the chef will be served each evening of this journey.
This trip will be an opportunity to meet villagers rarely approached by outsiders, who have remained authentic, while crossing breathtaking landscapes in exceptional comfort.
You will be housed in sumptuous small village houses, furnished and decorated in a pure and warm style to provide the cocoon so welcome after a good day’s walk.
The goal is to reach Leti, where, built at 2,230 metres of altitude entirely of stone and wood and largely glazed, stands this luxurious yet minimalist lodge facing the eternal snows of the Himalayan range. The journey there is an adventure in itself; only a trail through wild, grandiose landscape leads to this wonderfully isolated place, where it will be good to warm yourself by the fire.
Seated at the table before the panorama – the cuisine, refined and exceptional, makes extensive use of local produce – the magic of the mountains takes hold. It invites stillness, contemplation, meditation, but also a delicate immersion in the culture of this region of India.
