Amazonie Santarem
Spacious, light-filled cabins... Decorated with Indian craft pieces, they offer 12 to 14 m2 of charm and comfort with a ceiling height of 2.20 metres. The interior features wood and coloured fabrics.
The restaurant, flavours of Amazonian cuisine...
The Brazilian chef gives pride of place to discovering local cuisine: duck with tucupi, fish of various kinds (pirarucu, tambaqui, tucunaré), specialities with exquisite flavours such as maniçoba, jambu, tacacá. Forest fruits such as cupuaçu, bacuri, açaí and pupunha lend themselves to delicious desserts. As for the ice creams of Pará State, they are among the most exotic in the world, with flavours such as açaí, mangaba, graviola, tapereba and Brazil nut... Breakfast, lunch and dinner are served there.
On the observation deck, the bar and solarium open onto the great spectacle of nature... In a style blending references to traditional river navigation and native craftsmanship, the bar is a place for relaxation and pleasure. A favourite meeting spot at the end of the day to sample cocktails prepared by a master bartender and exchange with the guide on the day's highlights.
A “farniente” space, comfortably seated in a lounge chair in the shade of a parasol, chatting with new friends while sipping the famous “caipirinha”, the solarium with its lounge chairs is an irresistible invitation to daydream and observe the riverbanks of the great theatre of Amazonian life.
The 9 cabins enjoy sweeping views of the passing landscapes, 4 with shared balconies. All are fitted with double beds (140/200 or 160/200, four of which can be arranged as twin or triple), a bathroom and toilet. They are air-conditioned.
