Chobe National Park
Chobe Under Canvas comprises just five spacious Hemingway-style tents. A large, comfortable tent is set aside for meals. A fully equipped safari vehicle includes a cooler box and charging points for your cameras and devices.
With a welcoming staff, delicious home-cooked meals, and traditional dinners served beneath the stars, Chobe Under Canvas offers the soul of Africa, without electricity or running water.
The camp relies on refined simplicity and a light ecological footprint, favouring lightweight materials and direct contact with nature, with no permanent structures.
Children aged 12 and over are welcome at the camp. They can take part in all the activities offered to adults.
Each tent has a double or twin bed, an en-suite bathroom, a flush toilet and an outdoor bucket shower with hot water available on request.
Intimate and comfortable, each tent is designed to offer an immersive safari experience, with simple but effective materials and total proximity to the landscape.
The setting is rustic chic: comfort assured without excessive electricity, just the essentials for sleeping well and experiencing nature.
Activities on offer include morning and afternoon 4x4 safaris to observe the park’s exceptional wildlife, as well as photographic cruises on the Chobe River to see the animals from the water.
Free time for observation, sunsets by the river and evenings around the fire round out this authentic immersion.
Everything is guided by expert naturalists who share their knowledge of the local environment and wildlife.
