The Balloon Safari Camp is located inside the park, near Boundary Hill, and enjoys a superb view over the park.

Layout

The camp offers just 10 tents for a privileged few. You can also enjoy the gourmet cuisine as well as the pool bar.

Rooms

The tents are all fitted with 4 king-size beds and large open-plan bathrooms. All tents are set on raised stilts and have large verandas from which to enjoy the sun setting over the Tarangire.

Activities offered

4x4 safaris await at the camp.
It’s also possible to take a hot-air balloon flight over the park, departing from the camp. Balloon flights usually take off at 6:30am. The flight lasts an hour, following the prevailing winds. On landing, the ballooning team prepares a champagne breakfast to celebrate a memorable morning.

All passengers receive a balloon flight certificate from their pilot.
