The Wolves' Cabin, part of Oméga Park, benefits from access to the park's facilities. These include an observation deck and walkway for wildlife viewing, a communal building where you can cook 24 hours a day with everything you need provided, a shop, various restaurants and picnic areas where the park's deer roam, as well as a vegetable garden.
Children are welcome at the wolf cabin, which is fully secured.
The comfortable round-log cabin, accommodating up to 4 people, features large panoramic picture windows offering sweeping views of the wolves. It has all the amenities needed for a comfortable stay: a fully equipped kitchen, two double beds, a bathroom, a terrace (pergola), household equipment and a wood stove.
Activities at Omega Park are many and varied: guided drives, hiking along different trails (snowshoeing in winter), an aerial walkway course over suspended bridges, sculpture demonstrations, activities centred on First Nations culture including tipi visits, play areas for children, and more. We also recommend the cultural visits to a restored 19th-century farm, which includes a museum offering a glimpse into life of the era, and a trading post illustrating the exchanges that once took place between Indigenous peoples and settlers.
More specifically, Omega Park's observatory offers views of the park's grey wolf pack, presented by a guide. Visitors can also encounter local wildlife along a signposted 15 km driving route, observing animals native to the northern hemisphere.
