Chisomo Safari Camp is located within the Karongwe Reserve, in the Mpumalanga region.
This destination offers a memorable experience with a warm atmosphere, friendly staff and refined cuisine to accompany excellent safaris. Enjoy some of the best African cooking in the region — whatever your dietary requirements, you'll be well looked after.
You can watch wildlife from your own deck, take a dip in the pool, or relax on the terrace with a book while listening to the sounds of the bush.
Take pleasure in observing the birds and animals that visit our garden, cocktail in hand.

Layout

Chisomo Safari Camp includes a large garden, a pool, and a shared dining area.
You’ll be welcomed in 23 highly comfortable and functional tents.

For your children

Children are welcome at Chisomo. However, it should be noted that only children over six may take part in safaris.
For this reason, the lodge offers a babysitting service and a programme for younger children (Little Paw Center).

Rooms

Overlooking the Makutsi River, Chisomo Safari Camp has 23 safari tents, each accommodating two people.
The tents are fully equipped with tea and coffee facilities, toiletries, a bed with mosquito net, hairdryer and personal safe.

Activities offered

2 shared 4x4 safaris per day are included (max 10 people per vehicle). At extra cost: guided walks (to be booked on site subject to guide availability), spa, a visit to the Moholoholo Rehabilitation Centre, hot-air balloon flights.

Located 33 km from Hoedspruit, umVangati House is a charming, modern luxury guesthouse with an outdoor pool and a sun-drenched terrace offering panoramic mountain views. Breakfast is served on the pool terrace, and dinner is available on request. The surrounding area and the Blyde River Canyon offer a range of activities, from hot-air ballooning to elephant-back safaris and hiking.

Londolozi Varty Camp

Set along the Sand River, close to Londolozi's four other camps, Varty Camp blends seamlessly into the surrounding bush. The campfire has burned here for more than 82 years, and Varty Camp is the symbolic heart and soul of Londolozi, for it is here that it all began - a tented camp established by pioneer Varty.

Inyati Game Lodge

Right by Kruger National Park

Inyati Game Lodge is located in the renowned Sabi Sand Game Reserve, bordering Kruger National Park. We value this small lodge for its warm service and the quality of its safari area. The lodge's ochre tones and African decor create a bush atmosphere enhanced by excellent comfort. In the evening, a traditional braai is served under the stars in the boma.
