Built in the shade of riverine trees on a private island in the midst of the mighty Zambezi, Chundu Island is the ideal lodge to take in the beauty of this region, “far” (21 km) from the bustle of Victoria Falls town. Its sunsets, with their ochre and pink hues, are among the finest in the world.

Layout

The 8 spacious suites offer every comfort and uninterrupted views over the river and Zambezi National Park, which you can explore during your activities.

Rooms

The River Suites are configured with a super king bed or twin beds. The open-plan suite includes a bathroom with a freestanding bathtub and an outdoor shower. Each suite has its own private terrace with a day bed and sitting area overlooking the Zambezi River, where you can relax and enjoy a cocktail.

Enjoy the many pleasures of island life: walks on secluded islands, canoe-kayaking on the river, sunset cruises, and safaris and walks in Zambezi National Park.
