On the north-western border of Serengeti National Park lies the Grumeti Reserve: a migration corridor for the herds of animals passing through the region.
The reserve was established by the Tanzanian government in 1994 to protect the route taken by the annual wildebeest migration, as well as the native biodiversity of this vast and important ecosystem.
Its location, as remote as it is lush, offers a far greener safari experience than the parks to the east. Hills, rivers and wooded valleys complete these resplendent lands, stretching as far as the eye can see.
As in any private reserve, you will have the privilege of experiencing night safaris and even walking safaris.
