Amboseli
The camp is built on a hillside, giving every space a spectacular view of Kilimanjaro. The heart of the camp includes a dining room, bar and lounge open to the savannah, all built from wood, stone and thatch in keeping with the environment. A massage area, a boutique and a pool round out the camp. The Family Tent and the Private House, set slightly apart, share a private pool.
Tortilis Camp welcomes children of all ages. An extra bed can be set up in each room for children under 16. The Family Tent and Private House, with their dedicated spaces and shared pool, are ideal for families.
The tents, spacious and elegantly furnished, are all covered with makuti (woven palm thatch), with a double or twin bed, en-suite bathroom and a large private veranda. Each one offers an open view over the plain or the acacias. An extra bed can be added for a child under 16.
Activities are varied and suited to every pace. 4x4 safaris take place both within the park and on private concessions, offering a genuine sense of exclusivity. Guided walks with Maasai guides allow for a more sensory approach. Bush breakfasts, sundowners, and massages further enrich the experience. Children can also enjoy outings tailored to them. Cultural visits to neighbouring villages are offered, as well as romantic stays or intimate weddings against a strikingly beautiful backdrop, under the gaze of Kilimanjaro.
