Buenos Aires
Set at the end of an avenue of centuries-old plane trees, La Bamba includes the main house, arranged around the central patio, with a library and a vast gallery opening onto the grounds. The cottage, the vine house, the stables, the summer dining room and the former inn make up most of the buildings surrounding the Estancia.
At the heart of a magnificent estate, this typically colonial complex houses rooms and suites spread across three buildings, several reception rooms, a billiard room, a bar, a massage room and a shop.
In La Bamba's eleven rooms and suites, dark wood floors, colonial antiques, regional textiles and modern art come together to create an elegant, understated and luxurious harmony. They offer oversized beds, fine Egyptian linens, and a safe.
Mariposa, Lalabai... each room is named after a famous polo pony. All non-smoking and air-conditioned, they overlook the park, shaded patios, or the polo fields.
Horseback rides or horse-drawn carriage trips, mountain bike excursions, Argentine bocce, hot stone massage, the large pool and numerous relaxation areas offer travellers unforgettable relaxation and an unrivalled way to recharge. La Bamba de Areco is also home to the international polo team that bears its name. The property includes two polo fields, so during the season you can watch near-daily training sessions and matches.
This historic estancia in Buenos Aires province opens its doors for an authentic Argentine dia de campo among the gauchos, departing from Buenos Aires.
