Morning departure for a full day’s navigation on the legendary Lake Titicaca (shared boat). Lake Titicaca, on the Altiplano, is the highest navigable lake in the world, a remarkable inland sea dotted with islands: Uros Island, Taquile Island and fishing villages. First stop at the floating islands of the Uros community, made of reeds, before continuing to Taquile Island, the largest island on the Peruvian side of Lake Titicaca, whose community is self-governing. Walk up a dirt path to the village. Lunch at a restaurant run by the Taquile community, with a sweeping view over Lake Titicaca. In the afternoon, back on the boat for the return to Puno. Dinner at your own expense and overnight at the hotel.
