The 4-star Exeter Hotel opened in August 2018 and takes its name from Exeter House, originally built in 1904 and rebuilt with an additional floor as part of the hotel complex. 
The Exeter Hotel has an industrial look, with open spaces, bright colours and a mix of textures that blend well with the modern facilities located near Reykjavik's old harbour, which remains very lively.

Want to venture into the streets of Reykjavik? You'll be ideally placed to explore the city centre and everything the area has to offer, from the vibrant, bustling zone around Austurvöllur and Laugavegur to the old harbour district, packed with high-quality restaurants.

Layout

The Exeter Hotel has 106 rooms, ranging from twin rooms to suites.
You'll also find amenities such as a sauna and gym, as well as the Deig bakery, Le Kock street food restaurant, and the Tail bar, which features a Bottoms Up draft beer system. The Exeter Hotel is built around a courtyard where guests can relax, mingle or plan their day's excursions.

A haven of peace in the centre of Reykjavik, the Exeter Hotel has many nooks and crannies to explore. An outdoor courtyard, a spacious lounge, and a sauna and relaxation room are all available to guests. If you feel like exercising, the gym is an ideal spot, equipped with all the basics.

The Exeter hotel has 106 rooms, ranging from twin rooms to suites such as the top-floor suite, which has a balcony overlooking Mount Esja and the old harbour and measures no less than 52 m2 including the balcony.
All rooms are fitted with free WiFi, a smart television, a telephone, a coffee maker (a tea set can be requested on demand), a mini-fridge, a hairdryer, a safe and a desk. All beds are queen-size.
