Few lodges or camps in Botswana offer hides for wildlife observation.
The one at Elephant Pan Camp is distinctive in being partly sunken into the ground, offering a ground-level view. This perspective can produce unusual images of the elephants that come to drink at the nearby waterhole.
Comfortably settled into your hide, you can observe them without being seen. Though that may not hold entirely true with elephants!
