L’hôtel lui s’éparpille entre plusieurs « mazots » et le grand chalet contemporain où se lovent un salon cosy avec cheminée en pierre, un spa avec piscine intérieure chauffée, sauna, hammam et bain nordique sur la terrasse (les massages aux bienfaits alpins sont prodigués dans un mazot dédié) et six chambres spacieuses, certaines avec poêle à bois, jacuzzi ou baignoire, toutes avec terrasse. Bois blond et granit y signent un design épuré qui laisse le panorama l’emporter sur tout autre artifice. Sous une belle hauteur sous plafond, comme dans les fermes traditionnelles megévannes, une grande baie vitrée permet de boire du regard, jusqu’à l’ivresse, cette montagne chère à Emmanuel Renaut.

Le restaurant (et sa cave bien garnie), bien sûr, est la pièce maîtresse à Flocons de Sel. Le chef a décroché ses 3 étoiles dans ce refuge d’exception qu’il a imaginé avec son épouse pour partager avec ses hôtes ses passions savoyardes. Une promenade en forêt en compagnie de ce maestro des fourneaux avant le dîner sera la plus belle introduction à sa cuisine. Le paradis a son adresse au hameau du Leutaz.

Rooms

Luxury, with a convivial spirit, is the signature of the rooms, suites and apartments at Flocons de Sel. From the warm, carefully considered decor to the efficiency of the amenities, everything has been designed for a stay that is as pleasant and restful as it is memorable, kept among the fondest of memories.

Superior Rooms
With a surface area of around 35 m², the two Superior rooms are spacious and offer 5-star comfort. They feature a Queen Size bed, a flat-screen television, a minibar and a small terrace with views over the valley and mountains.
Room No. 1 is equipped with a semi-open bathroom with bathtub and separate shower, and a terrace with views over the valley and mountains.
Room No. 2 is equipped with a semi-open bathroom with bathtub (fitted with a light-therapy system) and separate shower, and a terrace with views over the valley and mountains.
One of these rooms is fitted to accommodate guests with reduced mobility.

Junior Suite Rooms
The three Junior Suite rooms (36 to 49 m²) each offer a balcony and small terrace with sweeping views over the valley and mountains.
Each featuring a living area with a fireplace or wood-burning stove, they also come with a Queen Size bed, a flat-screen television and a minibar. Their bathroom opens onto the bedroom.
Room No. 3 has a living area (fitted with a sofa bed) with a wood-burning stove, a semi-open bathroom with a large shower, a balcony and a small terrace with views over the mountains and valley.
Room No. 4 features a living area (fitted with a sofa bed) with a double-sided fireplace, an open bathroom with a round bathtub and separate shower, a balcony and a small terrace with views over the mountains and valley.
Room No. 5 offers a living area (fitted with a sofa bed) with a wood-burning stove, a semi-open bathroom with bathtub and separate shower, and a terrace.

Deluxe Room
For a superb stay on the heights of Megève, nothing could be more fitting than the Deluxe room at the “Flocons de Sel” hotel, measuring around 41 m².
Spacious, it is fitted with a wood-burning stove, a Queen Size bed, a flat-screen television, a minibar and two balconies with views over the valley and mountains. Its bathroom opens onto the bedroom.
An authentic setting paired with high-end amenities, to be enjoyed in complete peace and quiet.

The Leutaz Suite
A window open onto ever-present nature, this suite enjoys sweeping views over the valley and mountains.
Covering 93 m², it has a spacious living room with equipped kitchen, a double bedroom with terrace and adjoining shower room. The toilet is separate. A private parking space is located right in front of the main door.

The Rochebrune Suite
Ideal for family stays, this 80 m² suite harmoniously combines space, authentic charm and modern amenities.
It has a large double bedroom with terrace, a second double bedroom, a single bedroom, a sitting area with flat-screen TV, a dressing room and a bathroom.

The village apartment
Pleasantly located in the heart of Megève, just steps from the church square, close to the “Flocons Village” bistro and the “La Cave” shop, the village apartment, measuring around 75 m², is arranged over 2 levels.
On the first level is a large double bedroom with bathroom as well as a smaller room for one adult or two children; on the second level, a spacious living room fitted with a wood-burning stove, a kitchen area and a balcony.
This apartment is offered without hotel services (no housekeeping or linen changes), except during peak season (Christmas and February holidays).
However, a free shuttle service is available to easily reach the “Flocons de Sel” hotel, home to the Spa (access included) and the Michelin-starred restaurant.
A breakfast basket can also be delivered the evening before, upon request and for an additional charge.

The exceptional apartment
Located within the hotel itself, the exceptional apartment, combining the Rochebrune Suite and Leutaz Suite, offers sweeping views over the valley and mountains.
Covering around 173 m², this high-end space, arranged over two levels, has a spacious living room with an equipped kitchen (upstairs), a second, smaller sitting area (on the garden level), three double bedrooms, a single bedroom, a shower room and a bathroom.
This apartment is offered with the hotel services of the Flocons de Sel hotel.

The Spa Relaxation Area welcomes you every day from 9:00 am to 7:30 pm, by appointment.

Activities offered

Behind its apparent simplicity, conducive to emotion, Emmanuel Renaut's cuisine reveals remarkable technical skill and a boundless love for the alpine terroir, whose flavours he never tires of elevating. Trained under Christian Constant and Marc Veyrat, awarded Meilleur Ouvrier de France in 2004 and three Michelin stars since 2012, he has given new standing to lake fish — Arctic char, féra and pike, the latter transformed into a now-iconic biscuit. Fresh-picked herbs, cèpes from Jaillet, chanterelles from Rochebrune inspire him as much as local game. At Flocons de Sel, the menu follows the rhythm of the seasons, tracing with subtlety a geography of local flavours.
