Worthy of the great safaris of Hemingway's era, this very comfortable camp, set in a superb location, lets you fully appreciate the tranquillity and atmosphere of the savannah.
Hammerkop Migration Camp is located in the heart of the world-renowned Masai Mara reserve.
The Ol Orok River also runs close to the camp.
It is an ideal spot for watching the Great Migration from August to October.
The camp is set up and taken down two or three times a year, leaving no impact on the environment.
With only 7 tents, Hammerkop Migration is an intimate safari camp.
Accessible only by plane or 4x4, the camp is perfect for photographing wildlife away from the park's crowded areas.
The camp is unfenced, and animals are free to pass through at any time of day or night.

Rooms

Hammerkop Migration Camp offers 7 luxurious canvas tents, including one family tent with a private lounge.
All offer sweeping views over the Mara River.
Each exclusive tent has a separate bathroom with a shower.
The spacing between the tents has been carefully considered to enhance privacy and viewpoints.

Activities offered

Masai Mara National Park covers 1,500 km².
During your safari, you can discover herds of elephants against a backdrop of endless savannah.
