Mozambique
Archipel Bazaruto
At the heart of the sanctuary are the common areas, including several dining spots: the main terrace, the Cove Mussassa — a relaxed café-restaurant on the beach — and its smaller counterpart the Ocean Mussassa, the Baracca restaurant with its distinctly Mozambican inspiration, and the Tuk Tuk pizza stand.
A wine cellar and a selection of cigars will also delight epicureans.
The splendid “Natural Wellness Centre” (NWC), with treatment and yoga rooms, a Japanese dome sauna and a pool, is complemented by a gym and a sports centre where you can collect snorkelling, paddleboarding and kayaking equipment.
Finally, you can visit the Kiosk to browse the souvenir shop and its selection of handcrafted items.
Families are welcome at Kisawa.
A range of children's activities can be arranged by the lodge's attentive staff (mini camping, rock fishing, paddleboarding, kayaking, shell hunting, afternoon craft discovery sessions, etc.)
A babysitting service is also available on request.
The eleven private residences of the Kisawa sanctuary are spread across 300 hectares of primary forest, beach and sand dunes.
The residences are fully secluded, spacious, and come with a dedicated butler and an electric “Mini Moke” vehicle for getting around the sanctuary.
Each also has a private pool, an outdoor terrace with a lounge area and kitchen.
In terms of decor and layout, every residence includes a large lounge, one, two or three bedrooms with king-size beds, a dressing room, and an attached design bathroom.
Kisawa invites you to take part in a wide range of activities to discover the beauty of Benguerra Island and the Indian Ocean.
Included experiences feature a traditional dhow outing, one spa treatment per person per stay, non-motorised water sports such as paddleboarding, kayaking, and snorkelling, as well as a glamping experience for an unusual night on the island in a refined setting...
For an additional charge, your private butler will also be happy to arrange yoga classes, spa treatments, scuba diving outings, kitesurfing sessions, horseback rides, a helicopter flight over the island, or sundowners on the “Red Dune”...
