In addition to its 6 rooms, Lango Camp features a dining room, lounge and bar, all set on raised decks overlooking the Lango bai, built from natural materials with minimal environmental impact and inspired by the Ba'Aka pygmy communities. The different areas of the camp are connected by elevated walkways.
Children aged 15 and above are welcome at Lango Camp.
The tents at Lango Camp are raised on stilts, 3 metres off the ground, with a 360° view over the forest and the Lango bais below, frequented by wildlife, and the waterways that run through them.
Each tent is fitted with a bathroom with private shower and toilet, mosquito nets and fans.
Lango Camp offers a variety of activities, depending on the different environments surrounding the camp: 4x4 safaris across the savannah, boat or motorised dugout canoe excursions along the rivers, guided day and night walks, open-air dinners, etc.
Lango is also one of the rare places in Africa where you can safely explore streams and marshes, as no large predators live there.
In the area, however, you may spot numerous monkey species, various antelopes, elephants, leopards, servals, buffalo and hippopotamuses.
Various monkey species, such as Guereza colobus monkeys, mangabeys and numerous chimpanzees, frequent the surroundings of the camp, and you may be lucky enough to spot them.
Good physical fitness is recommended, as activities can be tiring.
Wildlife observation at Lango is mainly done on foot, as the noise of 4x4 vehicles still startles wildlife unaccustomed to them.
