À vivre

Throughout the winter season, orcas follow the herring shoals as they slowly move south, taking refuge in the shallow fjords. This is one of the largest gatherings of orcas in the world, and also one of the places offering the highest chances of sightings. It is a remarkable sight to watch a family of orcas feeding on a shoal of herring they have driven to the surface. Seabirds take advantage of the opportunity, and a humpback whale is often nearby.

A boat trip to try to observe whales aboard a small yacht that can accommodate a maximum of 8 passengers.
Dress warmly (including wool layers, mittens, and a hat). Warm, waterproof shoes and a windbreaker are recommended.
Allow around 2 hours by boat to reach the area where whales are usually found.

Included: guide, boat, life jacket, cold-weather oversuit, hot drinks, biscuits and fish soup.

You might even be lucky enough to see orcas!

Total duration: 6 hours
