Linkwasha offers just eight tents, including one family tent, and has been designed entirely to offer contemporary comfort to its guests.
The privacy of the suites, as well as their views over the surrounding plain, have been carefully optimised, and the interior design pays tribute to local craftsmanship: natural tones, raw materials, ceramic pieces, sculptures carved from indigenous wood, hand-woven wool blankets, Malawian basketry.
Each piece nonetheless bears the imprint of modernity, through furniture with clean, simple lines.
Linkwasha is a lodge open to nature, and its airy design is complemented by an eclectic mix of contemporary interiors.
The communal areas, made up of several large tents with multi-level terraces, include a pool and a winter lounge with a library, overlooking the prolific waterhole.
On request, it is even possible to spend a night under the magnificent starry sky of southern Africa.
The ecological impact of Linkwasha Camp has also been measured in order to reduce its carbon footprint: ventilation system, natural lighting.
Direct flight access from Victoria Falls.
Highly committed, Linkwasha Camp works alongside a partner, “Children in the Wilderness”, so that surrounding communities and schools can benefit concretely from sustainable ecotourism. You can enjoy a visit to the local village, which often includes a guided tour of the school, meeting the chief, or taking part in community projects.
The tents are spacious with a large double bed fitted with a mosquito net, and an en-suite bathroom with outdoor shower.
The tents, skilfully hidden beneath the trees, are spaced well apart from one another, ensuring complete privacy for each.
At Linkwasha: day and night 4x4 safaris, walking safaris, night walks under the stars, and a visit to the local village.
