Teak walkways connect the tents to the communal areas, which offer a direct view of the waterhole.
After your safari, relax in the pool or make use of the small wooden terrace to quietly observe the surrounding wildlife.
Dinners are served by the fireside under the African sky, to the sounds of the bush coming alive at night — an ideal moment to share the day’s adventures.
Children are accepted from the age of 7. Safaris are adapted accordingly, though some activities, such as guided walks, carry age restrictions.
Little Makalolo has only 6 tents for an exclusive experience. These tents are tastefully decorated in a contemporary African style and feature both an indoor and outdoor shower to stay connected to this pristine wilderness.
For the more adventurous or romantic, depending on your point of view, the camp offers nights under the stars on a raised platform. You’ll fall asleep to the laughter of hyenas and the roar of lions — an unforgettable sensation.
The camp offers 4x4 safaris, night drives, guided walks and hide-based observation. A unique experience: the Star Bed at Madison Pan, for sleeping under the stars. Cultural visits and encounters with anti-poaching teams add further depth to the stay.
