Magic Arabia Fix Camp is a traditional, luxurious mobile tented camp designed with exquisite Arabian-style interiors. Though remote, the camp is nonetheless comfortable, and is powered by solar energy.
You will be welcomed with legendary Bedouin hospitality from the moment you arrive at the camp. From the warm, traditional Omani welcome to the chic tent interiors, the camp offers an authentic desert experience.
Set atop a dune adjacent to the camp, overlooking a vast valley, the sunset lounge is the ideal spot to watch the day's last light with a refreshing drink in hand. The sunset that bathes the dunes in orange-red light is a sight not to be missed.
At the heart of camp life, the Majlis, inspired by original Bedouin tents, is arranged into several areas: a lounge area for travellers to share the day's impressions, a section with a communal dining table for families or groups of friends, and a more intimate area with tables for 2 to 4. Large lamps hung from the ridge of the Majlis cast a warm light, while candle lanterns create a cosy atmosphere. Sofas, poufs and armchairs adorned with wool cushions complete a design that is both clean and warm.

Under the direction of an accomplished chef, the cooks prepare authentic dishes inspired by local and Lebanese cuisine. Dinner showcases traditional dishes such as lamb slow-cooked in the sand, the fresh fish abundant in Oman, simmered with different flavourings, or mutton grilled asado-style. During dinner, enjoy a relaxed atmosphere with Bedouin musicians playing the vanished melodies of their ancestors.
 

Rooms

Each room is actually composed of two tents, one housing a comfortably proportioned bedroom and the other the bathroom. The nature-chic design of the tent features natural wood furniture and wool or light cotton fabrics blending ecru, black and anthracite tones. On the floor, a natural coconut fibre rug brings warmth, while soft lighting creates an intimate atmosphere after nightfall.
On a raw wood duckboard, you shower Indian-style, pouring water drawn from a large tadelakt jar. On an adjacent unit, you'll find a terracotta sink, a mirror and all the usual amenities. Plush bath towels are laid out on a bamboo ladder. A flush toilet completes the bathroom.
