Nimali is a Swahili word meaning wealth. Nimali Tarangire is an exclusive luxury lodge, opened in June 2015, located on the eastern boundary of Tarangire National Park, known for its striking baobabs and high concentration of elephants. The lodge sits beside a dry riverbed, well hidden among acacias and baobabs. Natural materials blend with a contemporary design, giving guests a unique and memorable bush experience.

Layout

The main areas include a lounge, a library and a central dining room overlooking the pool and a waterhole.

Rooms

The tents are built with natural materials and designed in a contemporary style with fixed bathroom walls and wooden doors. The tent bedrooms are comfortably furnished with double or twin beds fitted with mosquito nets, a desk and an en-suite bathroom with shower. Other room amenities include bathrobes and slippers, a hairdryer, an electronic safe, fans and a battery charger. From your private veranda, you can relax while taking in the sights and sounds of nature.

Activities offered

The lodge is situated within a private concession where night safaris can be arranged, as well as walking safaris or meals out in the bush.
A hot-air balloon experience is also available.
