South Luangwa
Nkwali has six stone-and-thatch chalets with an open-air private bathroom. The bar is built around a huge ebony trunk, and the restaurant faces the lagoon that attracts wildlife.
The six chalets are spacious and, during the day, open up entirely onto striking views of the river. The bathrooms are generously sized with double basins and showers from which you can take in the vast African sky.
The Nkwali site benefits from exceptional wildlife richness. Nkwali is an excellent base for exploring the central part of South Luangwa National Park and can be combined with the excellent Robin Pope “bivouac” experience in the far north of the park, to experience the best of walking safaris with truly exceptional guides.
