There is a friendly, informal atmosphere on board. Passengers are welcome on deck day and night, and there is always something to see or watch for from the ship's spacious observation decks. Travelling aboard this small expedition ship offers an experience and perspective entirely different from those of a larger, more conventional cruise ship. Welcome aboard.

Layout

The Ocean Nova features comfortable outside cabins with private facilities, including dedicated double and triple cabins. Beyond a glassed-in panoramic lounge and a presentation room, you’ll find a spacious dining room, a bar, a library and an infirmary. In the dining room, you’ll enjoy delicious meals. In the lounge, you can have a drink while taking in sweeping views of the surrounding polar landscape. This is where specialists give talks and lead lectures on the flora, fauna and history of the region.

Rooms

The ship has 38 cabins with an outside view.
The triple cabins on the Ocean Nova and some of the twin cabins on the upper deck have upper and lower berths. All other cabins have two lower berths. In your cabin, you'll also find a desk with a chair and ample storage space for clothing and equipment.
