The Sea of Cortez was called the world's largest aquarium by Cousteau. Sea lions, hammerhead sharks, turtles, whale sharks, blue whales, grey whales and sperm whales all move through this extraordinary environment. During your diving stay in the Sea of Cortez, you'll also observe smaller marine life — multicoloured fish, green moray eels, stingrays, groupers…
Around twenty dive sites are accessible from La Paz, between 45 minutes and 2 hours away by boat.
All dives take place outside the Bay of La Paz. The most compelling sites are found around the Espíritu Santo archipelago.
