Potato Bush Camp, Zambie © Green Safaris
Zambie
Lower Zambezi
It comprises 3 safari tents and 2 even more spacious family tents. A stay open to nature, with a bar and lounge rounding out the facilities.
The spacious, open-plan lounges and dining area, known as 'The Boma', skilfully combine traditional design with chic lines and varied textiles, creating a space that is simple yet thoroughly comfortable for relaxing during the day. A long wooden table hosts communal meals.
And to enjoy the finest sunrises and sunsets, head to the campfire by the riverside.
Children under 9 are not accepted at Potato Bush Camp. For safety reasons, the minimum age for walking safaris and canoeing is 15. The camp welcomes families with older children, offering a safe, suitable setting for all.
The three Luxury Safari tents are spacious and feature an en-suite bathroom, fully open to the bedroom (only a low dividing wall), with two showers, two washbasins and a large clawfoot bathtub. Large folding doors open onto the spacious balcony, which features a double hammock for the ultimate in napping luxury and a small private pool. Two of the Luxury Safari tents are furnished with king-size beds, while the third has twin beds.
The family tents are much the same, but with two tents connected by a shared lounge.
A muchinda (or personal butler, one per room) attends to every guest's request.
Potato Bush Camp offers full immersion in the national park with professional guides: day and night 4x4 safaris, canoe or boat trips on the Zambezi River, walking safaris, fishing trips...
