SCP Wilderness occupies a privileged setting at the heart of Costa Rica's wilderness, close to Cabo Blanco National Park, a biological reserve and remarkable ecosystem home to a wide variety of animal and plant species. The hotel is surrounded by lush vegetation, secluded beaches and abundant wildlife. Corcovado Wilderness Lodge is designed for total immersion in nature while ensuring comfort and environmental care. The fully equipped open-air bar is an excellent spot to relax and watch the colours of the sunset over the bay. 

The facilities are designed to minimise environmental impact while offering guests a comfortable, luxurious experience. Common areas, such as the pool, restaurant and spa, are open-air and offer sweeping views over the mountains, rainforest and sea, creating a serene, intimate atmosphere.

Rooms

The bungalows are built from wood and other local materials to blend with the natural surroundings. Their simple, rustic style creates a warm, authentic atmosphere. Each bungalow is positioned to offer sweeping views of the surrounding nature: dense rainforest, nearby rivers and, in some cases, the Pacific Ocean. Each of the 20 rooms has a private bathroom, hot water, and a terrace overlooking the bay and the rainforest. Eleven rooms are also air-conditioned.

Superior Rooms: These rooms offer optimal comfort with large beds, a spacious bathroom, modern amenities (air conditioning, Wi-Fi, safe), and a private terrace. The rooms are decorated with natural materials and feature large windows that make the most of the view over the rainforest or the sea.

Junior Suites: The suites are more spacious, with a separate lounge area, a larger terrace and luxury amenities such as a private jacuzzi, an espresso machine and a mini-bar stocked with local products. These suites are ideal for travellers seeking more space and privacy.

Villas: The villas are the largest option available and offer a truly exclusive experience. They include several bedrooms, a separate living room, a fully equipped kitchen, and often a private pool. They are perfect for families or groups of friends looking for a more intimate, secluded setting, while still enjoying direct access to the surrounding nature.

SPA

SCP Wilderness has a spa, where guests can recharge with wellness treatments, massages and treatments inspired by traditional Costa Rican medicine. The spa also places emphasis on organic, local products, in keeping with the environment.

Activities offered

You can also enjoy a delicious menu featuring fresh fish, tropical fruit, bread and homemade desserts. A trail leads to the nearby beach, perfect for sunbathing and swimming in the warm, calm waters of the bay. The hotel also has a natural saltwater pool, wireless internet access from the bar, kayaks, hammocks and a complimentary laundry service. All tours and boats are managed by Drake Bay Wilderness Resort, and the lodge has its own private dock providing easy access to the hotel.
