Serengeti Nord
The main camp has 4 one-bedroom tents and 2 family tents, each with a private deck and strategically positioned along the Mara River.
Their decor recalls the era of mobile safaris, with leather desks and “trunk” wardrobes — a true invitation to draw closer to nature.
The common areas (lobby, restaurant, bar) are made up of spacious tents, also surrounded by decking, perfect for enjoying long, mild evenings.
As in all Singita lodges, special care is given to the meals prepared by the Chef, who creates bespoke recipes. Singita has received numerous awards for its wine collection at Mara River Camp, unique in Africa.
The camp also includes a small pool where you can enjoy real moments of relaxation after a safari. It is powered by a solar grid, and the use of unnecessary energy and non-biodegradable materials is prohibited.
The idea is for guests to make the most of the river view and spend as much time as possible at the heart of this extraordinary natural setting.
Children are welcome from age 10. A childcare service is available on request.
The camp has 6 safari tents (4 doubles and 2 family tents) set about a hundred metres from the river.
Each tent has a wooden deck for taking in the landscape. The bathroom also opens onto the surrounding nature while preserving your privacy.
The light breeze flowing in through the wide openings to the outdoors replaces air conditioning perfectly.
Singita Spa offers a wellness setting that lets you reconnect with nature and restore both body and mind.
On a private terrace or in the comfort of your suite, you choose where to enjoy your moment of relaxation.
During the 2 daily safaris organised by the lodge, you will discover the abundant wildlife of the Lamai region. Lions, leopards and cheetahs roam the vast plains alongside elephants and antelopes. The Mara River, meanwhile, is a haven for hippos, crocodiles and numerous bird species. To preserve the environment, safaris are shared among several guests in the same vehicle.
