At 2,800 metres altitude, the colours are vivid: the blue of the sky, the red of the earth, and an endless mosaic of wildflowers growing in abundance. Inspired by this luminous setting, Sol & Luna celebrates the beauty of the Sacred Valley of the Incas. The architecture blends avant-garde design with a primitive spirit; clay walls display modern works alongside traditional Peruvian art, while stones, beams and bricks drawn from the valley find their natural place throughout. The delicious cuisine likewise draws on local gastronomy, giving it a contemporary touch. Located close to the archaeological sites, Sol & Luna opens a door onto this vanished civilisation.

Layout

Breakfast is served in a contemporary restaurant offering seasonal dishes. The establishment includes a bar and a wine cellar. A spa with a gym and saunas is also available.

Rooms

Decorated in colorful tones and adorned with handcrafted objects and Peruvian touches, the elegant, rustic casitas feature a marble bathroom, an exposed-beam ceiling, and eclectic furnishings. They include free Wi-Fi access, and some have a terrace with a hot tub.

SPA

A spa with gym and sauna is available, where you can enjoy a massage or a yoga class.

Activities offered

An unspoiled playground for outdoor enthusiasts, the Sacred Valley ranks among South America's top spots for tandem paragliding, mountain biking and hiking. Quieter outdoor pursuits include kayaking, horseback riding and quad bike excursions.

Giant hummingbirds, the largest hummingbird species in the world, have made the property's 4,000 trees their home.
And they are not alone: around thirty other species have made the same choice, a testament to the property's commitment to environmental stewardship. The Polylepis, an endangered tree species, has also found refuge here.
