Mana Pools
Weathered Zanzibar doors and subtle nods to Zimbabwe's iconic ruins give the design a singular character, while retaining the classic feel of canvas.
Named after Africa's magnificent tuskers, Tembo Plains draws its inspiration from nature, with sweeping river views from your bed. Few, if any, properties offer as much elegance and refinement in Mana Pools.
Tembo Plains is the ideal place to take in the wilderness, then return to evenings spent in the greatest comfort.
It has four suites and a magnificent two-bedroom Zanji family suite, ideal for two couples, a family, or a couple seeking the ultimate private safari.
The tent's central area features an interactive kitchen, where delicate dishes from near and far are served in the dining room, in the intimate wine cellar, or outdoors, for breakfast in the shade of the trees or a candlelit dinner served by the river.
Depending on your mood, you can choose to join the communal table for a convivial moment, or enjoy your meal tête-à-tête.
Sapi is perfect for anyone keen on beautiful photographs, with very few vehicles to spoil the shot, and sublime landscapes in the background, captured with a professional Canon camera provided in every tent.
Children are accepted from age 6.
All tents feature a private indoor lounge, a small outdoor pool (with exercise bikes on a wide veranda) and an outdoor dining area combining canvas and stone walls.
4 suites (double bed or twin beds).
Each of the 4 suites (double bed or twin beds) has a private indoor lounge, an outdoor pool (with exercise bikes on a spacious veranda) and an outdoor dining area.
Handcrafted bathtubs along with indoor and outdoor showers give the suite a “home sweet home” feel where guests can settle in and truly live.
Wi-Fi and a workspace in every room.
Each suite is equipped with a professional camera and lenses. High-quality binoculars are also made available to guests during their stay in the Sapi reserve.
The same elegance carries through the atmosphere of the Zanji Suite, which overlooks the majestic river and offers a fine setting for a family or group safari.
2-bedroom suite with 1 King bed or 2 single beds in each room – 270 m²
The 1,200 km² private Sapi concession, combined with Mana Pools National Park, forms a protected wilderness playground spanning 3,370 km² in total.
On 4x4 or walking safaris, canoe or boat outings on the Zambezi, you may encounter elephants, lions, leopards, hyenas, wild dogs, buffalo, elands, zebras and other ungulate species, as well as numerous bird species.
