This luxury boutique hotel is located on a one-way pedestrian boulevard, directly opposite the Christchurch Arts Centre, in the most central and quiet part of Christchurch city, just steps away from the Christchurch Art Gallery, the Christchurch Museum, the world-renowned Christchurch Botanic Gardens, the new convention centre and library, the Avon River, Cathedral Square, cinemas, the golf course, the tram, and the shops, cafés and restaurants of central Christchurch.

Wake up to a sumptuous continental breakfast, take a walk through the botanic gardens, hop on the tram followed by a refreshing coffee in one of the colourful cafés, or take a leisurely stroll to the riverside markets, Christchurch Town Hall, the convention centre, the casino, the Avon River and many other attractions.

Take a short walk to the Terraces, where you’ll find dozens of restaurants overlooking the beautiful Avon River, or watch the sunset from a rooftop bar.

If you prefer, you can order a glass of wine or a beer at the hotel bar and unwind in the beautiful outdoor courtyard or in the luxurious lounge.

Tea, coffee, biscuits and fresh fruit are offered free of charge to make your stay even more memorable and enjoyable.

The hotel has six on-site parking spaces, subject to availability. In addition, street parking is free from 6pm to 9am.

Rooms

Each room is named after a prominent Cantabrian.
The eight rooms are located in the original Victorian villa and have been lovingly restored, with ornate ceilings, polished wooden floors and kauri doors. Enjoy the atmosphere of a bygone era with all contemporary comforts, including modern bathrooms with underfloor heating, electric fireplaces with a wood-fire effect, flat-screen televisions, and quality bedding and linens.
You’ll find a hairdryer and toiletries, along with many other extras.

All rooms are fitted with a safe. The Super Deluxe suite has two televisions.

Some of the contemporary rooms contain two luxury double beds.
