The Mudhouse consists of uniquely designed huts scattered through the natural surroundings. All the cabins are built with natural materials, using age-old techniques with a distinctly modern touch.
There is no electricity in the Mudhouse huts. Night-time lighting comes from numerous candles and lanterns, along with solar-powered LEDs. The local village was connected to the national grid in 2012, and the reception area is now supplied with electricity to charge phones, cameras, iPads or any other gadgets you bring along.
Staying at the Mudhouse means travelling back in time in the heart of the jungle and embracing a simpler way of life, where things move at your own pace.
Each structure is designed for comfort and peace of mind. While each hut offers different amenities, the facilities are essentially the same.
All cabins have an outdoor shower, an indoor bathroom, a dining area, a lounge and relaxation spaces fitted with hammocks and rugs — all designed to blend into the natural surroundings.
