Twyfelfontein Adventure Camp consists of around twenty spacious, comfortable tents, each with a private en-suite bathroom with solar-heated hot water, as well as a shaded deck furnished with chairs — ideal for unwinding after a day's excursion. The heart of the camp is the large main tent, an open-sided lapa housing the restaurant and bar, offering a convivial setting for shared meals and evenings.
Travellers can also enjoy a pleasant pool bordered by a shaded terrace, perfect for cooling off during the hottest hours or simply savouring a moment of quiet. Fully solar-powered, the camp is run with respect for the environment while guaranteeing both comfort and authenticity.
The camp has around twenty comfortably furnished tents, each reached via a few steps and designed to offer a simple yet pleasant experience. They are equipped with two twin beds, an open-plan bathroom with shower (hot and cold water), washbasin and toilet, as well as a shaded terrace with armchairs, ideal for relaxing while taking in the natural surroundings. All tents also feature a safe and electrical outlets, both European and USB.
Two categories are available: Standard tents, functional and welcoming, and Premium tents, more spacious, which additionally include a tea/coffee set and a mini-bar fridge. For families, the camp offers two specially designed units: two neighboring Standard tents connected by a wooden walkway, providing a shared space while preserving each family's privacy.
4x4 excursion to the Huab River and surrounding valley (with picnic lunch, geological formation viewing, and the chance to spot the elusive desert elephants).
A visit to the nearby Damara Living Museum can be arranged independently.
The camp is located 9km from the Twyfelfontein rock art site.
