À vivre

Guided visit of Belém, capital of the state of Pará and economic hub of the northern region. The city is surrounded by rivers, waterways and canals, and rich in mango trees.
Known for its high rainfall, Belém is also marked by tree-lined squares and gardens within the city. You will visit the picturesque Ver-o-Peso market, a striking mix of colors, aromas and exotic flavors, as well as the Emílio Goeldi Museum of Pará, a center for botanical, archaeological and anthropological research.
The museum includes a zoo-botanical park where visitors can observe more than 2,000 plant species native to the Amazon and some 600 animals from the regional fauna (monkeys, felines, tapir, capybara, agouti, sloth, reptiles, amphibians and numerous bird species).
