Chameleon Hill offers a warm, colourful atmosphere.
The lodge has a dozen cottages, each with panoramic views from its private terrace.
Every cottage has its own identity and colour scheme, furnished with high-quality, handmade pieces showcasing a distinctive Euro-African style.
The bar sits directly off the terrace, with fine views over Lake Mutanda and the Virunga volcanoes. In the evening, the restaurant serves flavourful dishes prepared with fresh local produce.
For cooler evenings, a fireplace sets the mood.
Rooms
A staircase leads from the main building to the 10 individually and colourfully furnished chalets.
Each room has its own charm and unique character, with its own colour scheme and private garden, and all share a sweeping view of the lake.
Each chalet is fitted with a modern bathroom with a panoramic window, so you can enjoy the lake and volcanoes even while showering.

A variety of massages are on offer to ensure true moments of relaxation during your stay.
Activities offered
Set at an altitude of just over 2,000m, this is the ideal base for safaris to Bwindi and Mgahinga national parks, as well as for exploring the Virunga mountain range.
You can also take a trip on the hand-built boat available for excursions.
