Coffee tradition is the most iconic symbol of Colombian national culture, and what has earned Colombia its worldwide renown. It was this heritage that UNESCO sought to preserve by inscribing Colombia's Coffee Cultural Landscape as a World Heritage Site in 2011. A place of extraordinary beauty, clinging to steep mountain slopes and home to shade-grown coffee, where the cherries ripen more slowly than in full sun and have time to develop far more subtle flavors. Tasting here is a must!

It is in this setting that Hacienda Bambusa opens its doors to you. More than just a hotel from which to explore the region, it's a chance to be immersed in a working farm steeped in authenticity and genuine Colombian hospitality.
Its Spanish-inspired architecture is typical of the country's coffee fincas. Fired clay tiles crown an upper floor connected by a wooden staircase. Supported by a series of bamboo columns, the upper level looks out over a rolling, deep-green landscape, lightly veiled by trailing wisps of mist that stretch to the horizon. The scenery is breathtaking, and the diversity of flora and fauna makes it a small paradise.

The eight impeccably appointed rooms, spacious and comfortable, each have a private balcony or terrace overlooking the pool or garden.

Ideally designed for rest and relaxation, overlooking the hotel's pool or gardens, the rooms feature a private balcony or terrace, a sitting area and a hammock. All are equipped with comfortable bedding, television, mini-bar, safe, Wi-Fi connection and air conditioning.

Activities offered

At Hacienda Bambusa, guests can immerse themselves in a variety of activities: bird watching, mountain biking, cacao tours, coffee tastings, cooking classes, hot-air balloon flights and paragliding. Activities are offered on the property and nearby Hacienda Bambusa, as well as day trips in the region.
